Coastal Crew Spotlight: Katie Jones

Many of our members have overcome some incredible obstacles on the way to health and hotness.

We believe our members are the heartbeat of our great community and provide amazing inspiration to others overcoming their own challenges.


1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I started Coastal 1 year ago. I thought, why not try it out. Worst case I stay over weight, unhealthy, and unhappy.

2. What fitness activities/sports were you doing before you joined Coastal?

I was at a point where I had 0 activity in my life.

3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?

Since joining Coastal I have lost 32 lbs, and gained more strength than I imagined.

4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I remember the first few weeks saying "I wanna be skinny, and wanted flamingo legs!".. always a good joke now!! :) But my idea of what I thought was beauty is totally different now. I think beauty is strength, confidence, and the ability to see the world different. Coastal did that for me.

5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?

My favorite day is for sure the dreaded Ladder Day. I'm one who has learned to thrive on competition. Something I use to be terrified of. I think only because at the end, you have accomplished something you didn't think you could. You challenge yourself to a point of exhaustion. I LOVE IT <3
