1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I started at Coastal in April of 2017. My daughter was just over a year old and I realized I couldn’t keep up with her and carrying her was becoming difficult. I knew I wanted to be stronger and healthier for me and for my family. I had gotten really discouraged about my weight and frustrated for failing to improve on my own. I went to school with Gary and followed the gym on Facebook. I kept seeing all of the results the members had and telling my husband about it. He encouraged me to check it out.

2. What fitness activities/sports were you doing before you joined Coastal?

None, to be honest. I’ve never been athletically inclined and never “liked” to exercise.

3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I have lost over 40 pounds in my 8 months there! I have more strength and I’m more self-confident. Knowing that I can succeed and become more physically fit helps my mental perspective as well.

4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?

What I love about Coastal is that all I have to do is show up and put in effort and get results. I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do today. It’s all laid out for me. The coaches are there every step of the way and all of the members have been friendly and supportive.

5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?

Friday because it is a good mix of everything.

2. If you were a Superhero, what would your super power be?

Not sure if this is a super power but I’d love the ability to use “the force” (Star Wars reference for the non-nerds).

3. What is your favorite cheat meal?

Chick-fil-A sandwich meal (with one of their delicious warm chocolate chip cookies).
