1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?
I started at Coastal November 2014. I saw a groupon for Coastal and was ready for a change. I was the heaviest that I had ever been and needed to do something different. I did the typical fad diets, lost weight and would gain it right back. I belonged to a local gym but didn't know what the heck I was doing when I went so I would get bored and never got any results so I quit going. I fell in love with Coastal from the first workout and can't imagine my life without it.
2. What fitness activities/sports were you doing before you joined Coastal?
Before Coastal, in high school and middle school, I did field hockey and gymnastics. Before
kids, I ran all the time and was at my thinnest but was sick every other week.
3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?
Besides being happier with myself, I am so much stronger and healthier. I've lost 24 lbs, 18 inches and 3 pant sizes. I have completely changed by mindset with eating and I have a healthier relationship with food...food and calories are no longer the enemy.I'm not afraid to eat! That's been my biggest obstacle and I've conquered it!
4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?
I love the support of the coaches and other members and how everyone pushes each other to the next level. I also love that the workouts are preset. I just have to show up and put in the work and of course, the awesome coaches and the knowledge that they bring.
5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?
My favorite day is lower body day. I get just as sweaty and burn just about as many calories as I do on HIIT days. Striving to get the J. Lo booty is hard work.

1. What is your Spirit animal?
My spirit animal is a honey badger. Small but fierce and they rely on their intuition and feelings. I always think about what I do before I do it. Don't ever underestimate my tenacity, focus and determination to reach my goal. I might look small and cute, but will attack when I'm threatened or when someone I care about is threatened. Honey badgers are socially adept, but deep down they are solitary and prefer quiet and alone time....that's me.
2. If you were a Superhero, what would your super power be?
My super power would be a healer. I would be able to heal sick people......especially cancer. Cancer sucks!!!
3. What is your favorite cheat meal?
Favorite cheat meal.....crispy, salty fries with an ice cold can of coke or nachos with a sweet tea!
