MEET MEGAN:

1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I first joined coastal in July 2014 with one of the first transformation programs that Gary was promoting. I saw the link on my FaceBook feed and was VERY hesitant to sign up. I knew that I needed a new workout regimen since I seemed to be in a plateau after falling into the PF daily routine. It felt like more of a chore working out than a reward. The initial sign up for the transformation was non-traditional, it felt like the trainers really truly cared about you.

2. What fitness activities/sports were you doing before you joined Coastal?

Right before coastal I was running, and working out with one of the chain gyms in the area. Maybe a 5k here or there and I played sports in high school.

3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I have mainly noticed my energy levels increased, along with feeling better about myself and getting stronger of course. I can really see the changes in my muscles, especially my arms and of course fitting in to smaller clothes or tightening my belt on my uniform. I also don’t have the same cravings or care for processed food as I had in the past.

4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?

I love the trainers, Gary, Will, Ben, Diego and now Kristen are all great. Their lively personalities are each different in their own way, and they know how to have fun but they know when to take things serious as well. I also love the atmosphere, it’s not your typical gym, everyone feels like family, see others change and helping one another along the way helps to look forward to something every day.

5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?

I like every day…I love ladders, burpees and cardio, but my absolutely favorite is probably leg day. Seeing the gains that I have made working with bad knees and the progressions I have made being able to squat properly and dead lift makes for a great leg day, even if I walk funny the next day or two.

Lightening Round Questions:

1. What is your Spirit animal?

I would have to say the white tiger. They represent strength, valor, energy and devotion, all of which I give day in and day out, in and outside of the gym. Even if they look fierce on the outside they are just cute and cuddly.

2. If you were a Superhero, what would your super power be?

I would want to have speed like the Flash. I would be able to get soo much more things done and be able to have more down time with friends and family.

3. What is your favorite cheat meal?

Wine! But that’s not exactly a meal. I would have to say anything that I can have french fries with or the occasional pizza, but it has to be stuffed crust.d potatoes and macaroni and cheese!!!
