MEET AMY:
1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?
I was at my heaviest and most unfit state when I started Coastal in November 2015 with my best friend. It was her idea. I was reluctant at first but then it became the best decision I ever made. I am the fittest I've ever been in my life!
Before Coastal, I had always dabbled in running and some fitness classes, and a little yoga, but nothing that I was always consistent with or that led me to being stronger.

3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?
When I joined Coastal, I did the 28 Day Catalyst and started seeing results within a few weeks. The fat and inches I lost were only the beginning. I became more confident in myself and my ability to challenge myself. I participated in the Rugged Maniac race (something I would have never even thought of doing before Coastal because of my fear of not being fit enough). I can do regular push-ups now and I could barely do push-ups on my knees when I started!
4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?
What I like most about Coastal Strength and Fitness is the environment. The gym is filled with people of all fitness levels and ages. It's a place to grow and challenge yourself with supportive coaches. I also like the nutrition counseling.
5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?
My favorite training day at Coastal is arm day. I enjoy pushing myself to get one more push-up, chin-up, and I love handstands.
