Coastal Crew Spotlight: Lindsay Breece

Many of our members have overcome some incredible obstacles on the way to health and hotness.

 

We believe our members are the heartbeat of our great community and provide amazing inspiration to others overcoming their own challenges.

 

MEET LINDSAY:

 

1. When and Why did you first start coming to Coastal Strength & Fitness?

 

I started at coastal in January 2015. Mikaela had tried a class and told me how great it was so I decided to give it a try. Best decision I've ever made.

 

2. What fitness activities/sports were you doing before you joined Coastal?

 

This question is so frustrating. I was waking up at 5am and taking a cycle class multiple days a week and going back to the gym at night to do a body pump class. I tried taking some of the exercises from pump and doing them on my own but never got any results.

 

3. What results have you seen since you joined Coastal Strength & Fitness?

 

The results both physically and emotionally are undeniable. I've lost 25 pounds and wear a smaller pant size than I ever have before. What I've gained completely outweighs what I've lost though. The confidence and pride of knowing that I can accomplish whatever I put my mind to has been life changing.

 

4. What do you like most about Coastal Strength & Fitness?

 

The friendships and motivation. I know that if I try to cheat myself by using a lighter weight that someone will call me out and switch my weights for something heavier. It's nice to have people that believe in you and know what you're capable of.

 

 

 

5. What is your favorite Coastal training day of the week and why?

 

I really have favorite (and least favorite) parts of each day. I do like the exercises where you have solid proof of progress like deadlifts and pull ups. It helps me to see the numbers go up and the pull ups get easier so that I know my hard work is paying off.

 

Lightening Round Questions:
 

1. What is your Spirit animal?

This one really stumped me so I took an online spirit animal quiz and it said butterfly.

 

2. If you were a Superhero, what would your super power be?

I would like to be able to fly. That way I could fly and be home with my family whenever I wanted and also not having to spend the majority of my life sitting in traffic on 64 would be nice.

 

3. What is your favorite cheat meal?

Is wine a meal? If not, pizza
